Agency Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary representative between the agency and its revenue generating partners, fostering strong, productive relationships
Negotiate compensation, commission and incentive agreements to maximize agency revenue and profitability
Track and analyze performance metrics surrounding loss ratio, retention, growth, and all other pertinent KPIs which support increased revenue opportunities
Partners with Contact Center leadership in identifying, evaluating, and communicating KPIs that need improvement to optimize relationships
Identify and communicate target markets by carrier to guide marketing focus and budget allocation
Promote partnership and carrier incentive programs, ensuring payout opportunities remain visible and motivate internal stakeholders
Advise leadership on models and strategies to prioritize carriers and optimize the agency’s product mix
Seek out and gain appointments and other accretive relationships that broaden our market and revenue opportunities
Schedule and coordinate training as needed
Prospect for new carrier relationships that align with agency growth goals, fill portfolio gaps, and broaden our market and sales opportunities
Develop and execute a carrier expansion strategy, advancing the agency along a path supporting a multi-line, multi-carrier, full service agency model
Explore new product opportunities (e.g., Life, Pet, Health) and assess feasibility for integration
Design and assist in executing a phased plan to mature from a primarily mono-line auto agency into a full-service, multi-line operation
Establish affiliate partnerships with various entities that provide additional lead and growth opportunities

Required

Must be based in Atlanta, GA
Ability and willingness to travel extensively
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in insurance carrier relations, business development, or agency operations preferred
Proven record of driving growth, improving profitability, and expanding carrier networks
