Part-Time Administrative Assistant - Veteran Success Center
The University of St. Thomas, a private university committed to the liberal arts and Catholic higher education, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to the staff of the Veteran Success Center. This role involves serving as the first point of contact for inquiries, providing secretarial support, scheduling meetings, making travel plans, and managing social media accounts.

Responsibilities
Serve as first point of contact for in-person, telephone, and email inquiries
Provide project staff with secretarial support
Schedule meeting, make travel plans, and process reimbursements
Manage department social media accounts
Qualification
Required
Three years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
Demonstrated ability to create social media content
Strong attention to details, organization and have the ability to complete multiple tasks
Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing a personal computer
Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office software products with particular emphasis on Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to prepare presentation materials
Ability to generate correspondence, format memos, and produce mass mailings
Excellent communication and organizational skills, spelling, and grammar
Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals in a professional manner
Excellent interpersonal and group skills, mature and discrete
Knowledge of basic office equipment such as copier, fax machines and scanners
Preferred
Experience working with military students
