HSQ Group, an HFW partner firm, is seeking a Project Manager in Private Sector Land Development to lead exciting projects to success. The role involves overseeing a team of designers and managing all aspects of land development projects from planning to implementation, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring project goals are met.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management: Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of land development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Team Leadership: Lead a team of at least two designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality project outcomes
Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs and expectations are met
Technical Expertise: Utilize Civil 3D and stormwater management skills to develop and review project designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure all project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications
Communication: Facilitate effective communication between clients, consultants, and internal teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, plans, and schedules, to support project tracking and decision-making
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations and obtain necessary permits and approvals
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development projects
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
Proficiency in Civil 3D, stormwater management, and other relevant engineering software
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with experience managing at least two designers
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project challenges
Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to land development and the ability to ensure compliance

Preferred

A Master's degree is a plus
Proficiency in Spanish is preferred to enhance communication with a diverse client base
