CBM SME Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

Act as the Joint Service Team Lead for CBM+/ALE development, coordinating efforts with the USAF RSO team, CSS, and cross-functional F-35 enterprise stakeholders
Lead and synchronize sensor-based algorithm development efforts to support prognostic and predictive maintenance capabilities
Translate operational and sustainment needs into executable engineering, logistics, and data requirements
Initiate, maintain, and update platform-level CBM+ implementation plans and formal requirements documentation
Manage CBM+-related requirements for FST Engineering to ensure prognostic maintenance objectives are achieved and aligned with platform performance goals
Ensure CBM+/ALE solutions are engineered to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements across the system lifecycle
Design, manage, and support the fielding of automated aircraft data transfer networks to enable near-real-time data ingestion, analysis, and decision-making
Oversee IETM S1000D conversion and development efforts to ensure full digital technical data functionality and alignment with CBM+ workflows
Provide leadership for cybersecurity accreditation and implementation activities supporting CBM+/ALE systems
Develop and maintain monthly Authority to Operate (ATO) sustainment plans, ensuring continuous compliance with DoD cyber and information assurance requirements
Provide senior-level program status, risk, and performance reporting to government leadership
Identify integration risks, technical gaps, and resource constraints impacting CBM+/ALE execution and recommend mitigation strategies
Support governance forums, working groups, and senior leader engagements related to digital sustainment and readiness modernization
Lead the development and execution of F-35 CBM+ and ALE strategies that integrate condition-based and predictive maintenance to improve material availability, reduce unscheduled repairs, and eliminate unnecessary maintenance actions
Ensure Program Objective Memorandum (POM) cycles are met, aligning requirements, schedules, and cost estimates to secure sufficient funding for CBM+ and ALE initiatives
Serve as the Joint Service focal point for CBM+/ALE integration across USAF, USN, USMC, and international partners as required

Required

Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance (required)
Bachelor's degree (required)
10+ years of experience in DoD aviation sustainment, logistics, engineering, or program management roles
Demonstrated experience leading complex logistics or sustainment programs with cost, schedule, and performance accountability
Direct experience with CBM+, predictive maintenance, digital sustainment, or advanced logistics systems
Experience operating within Joint, Service, or JPO environments supporting senior government leadership
Deep understanding of condition-based maintenance, prognostics, and sensor-driven analytics
Knowledge of aviation sustainment engineering, automated data systems, and digital technical data environments
Familiarity with IETM S1000D standards and digital maintenance ecosystems
Working knowledge of DoD cybersecurity accreditation processes (ATO/RMF)
Strong executive communication skills, including briefing and writing for senior leaders
High credibility operating with operational units and headquarters organizations
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management across government and industry
Self-starter with disciplined execution, suspense management, and attention to detail
Ability to operate effectively in high-tempo, high-visibility environments
Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to driving enterprise readiness outcomes

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Systems, or Program Management (preferred)
TS/SCI eligibility (preferred depending on work location and access requirements)
