Inventory Management Systems Implementation Support Analyst - 12 Month Term

Responsibilities
On-site implementation including participating in both planning, execution and follow up support tasks associated with the IMS project
Perform day-to-day implementation activities across IT, operations, supply chain, and vendor teams
Participate in regular project management meeting to provide updates on project milestones, deliverables, and any issues encountered
Assist with system configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live preparation
Support training sessions and user onboarding activities
Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to change control processes
Monitor task progress and escalate issues or delays to project leadership
Support barcode scanning mobile inventory tracking tools
Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting during and after deployment
Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with IT governance policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a related field
3+ years of experience in IT systems analysis or implementation, preferably in a manufacturing or inventory-heavy environment
Hands-on experience with inventory management systems and ERP platforms
Strong hands-on technical skills
Proficiency with warehouse technologies such as barcode scanners, label printers, and mobile devices
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in the wood products or building materials industry
Experience with JD Edwards
Knowledge of warehouse automation technologies
Technical aptitude and systems thinking
Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in stressful situations
Adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments
