Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive operational support for Juvenile Justice facilities by coordinating openings, closures, and transitions, and managing both planned and emergent operational projects
Serve as a liaison with internal business partners, maintain organized records for tracking and audit purposes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote operational efficiency
Responsibilities also include managing facility insurance coverage, overseeing fleet and telecommunications needs, supporting procurement and logistics, and coordinating employee onboarding and separations through system access and approval workflows
Oversee facility financial operations by auditing and approving Detention Subsidy invoices, managing detention invoice processes, realigning budgets monthly, and initiating budget actions, analysis, and projections for leadership review
Support facility budgets, procurement activities, contractual services, and prepare financial and operational reports as needed
Provide training and technical assistance to Business Officers and administrative staff, support management training initiatives, maintain expertise in key business systems, and assist with operational analysis to inform leadership decision-making
This position also includes management of the E-Rate program, with training provided

Required

Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in HR, budgeting, research or administrative management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

Experience with data entry
Experience with state procurement, budget policies and/or systems (E-procurement, NCAS, IBIS, E-Billing, etc.)
Experience with HR-Payroll System (FIORI)
Experience prioritizing multiple tasks/projects to meet deadlines
