Program Associate, Nature Conservation
Bezos Earth Fund is accelerating progress toward a more equitable, sustainable, and climate-resilient world. The Program Associate will support various operational and analytical tasks related to nature conservation initiatives, assisting with grantmaking processes, data analysis, and relationship management.

Responsibilities
Collect, organize, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform investment strategies, portfolio reviews, and programmatic decision-making
Support the full grantmaking cycle, including due diligence, documentation, milestone tracking, and coordination with internal teams
Review and analyze grantee reports across assigned regions to contribute to learning agendas, impact assessments, and compelling storytelling for internal and external audiences
Coordinate with grantees, partners, and donor coalitions—including scheduling, drafting agendas and meeting notes, tracking inputs, and managing pre- and post-meeting workflows
Draft and deliver clear, compelling program updates, briefs, presentations, and other materials for leadership, donor coalitions, and strategic partners
Plan and execute meetings and workshops tied to nature conservation initiatives, including logistics, materials preparation, and post-meeting communications
Dedicate approximately 25% of time to administrative and operational support, including meeting coordination, travel planning, and tracking inputs across workstreams
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in environmental management or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
At least 3 years of experience in nature conservation planning and project management
Direct work experience in one of our priority 30x30 regions is highly valued
Experience in the creation and management of protected areas is especially relevant
Significant professional experience living and working in Latin America or the Asia-Pacific region strongly preferred
Strong alignment with the mission and values of the Earth Fund
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, with strong project management, follow-through, and attention to detail
Effective team player with the ability to collaborate across diverse cultures, geographies, and time zones
Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Naturally collaborative, with a team-first mindset, shares credit, and supports the success of colleagues, partners, and grantees
Fluency in English required
Preferred
Master's degree in environmental management or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
Significant professional experience living and working in Latin America or the Asia-Pacific region strongly preferred
Fluency in English required; working proficiency in an additional language such as Spanish, Portuguese, or French strongly preferred
