Responsibilities
Approaches all interactions with a consultant mindset, advising the client on risks and opportunities associated with decisions, utilizing language adapted to the audience
Able to work through misalignment and customer concerns with confidence and unparalleled communication skills
Utilize diplomacy and tact to navigate difficult conversations, avoiding misunderstandings and maintaining positive client relationships
Actively engage with customers throughout the project lifecycle, including storyboarding, design, and implementation, ensuring clear and effective communication at each stage
Proactively works to anticipate the client’s expectations, ensuring that project deliverables align with their needs and exceed their standards through regular communication and feedback loops
Lead the full DevOps lifecycle, from planning and development to deployment and operations, ensuring alignment with business goals
Provide technical leadership for the design and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies
Select and implement tools for configuration management, monitoring, and orchestration (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes)
Architect and maintain scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles to support cloud-native and hybrid environments
Build and optimize automation systems for software delivery, including self-service solutions for engineering teams
Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance across production and non-production environments
Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and operations to streamline workflows and improve delivery velocity
Mentor junior DevOps engineers and conduct training sessions on reusable tools, patterns, and best practices
Interface with leadership and product teams to align DevOps strategies with organizational objectives
Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes, change management, and feedback loops
Stay abreast of industry trends and lead experimentation with new technologies and techniques
Lead initiatives in performance, stress, and security testing to ensure system robustness
Enforce cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and external standards
Help develop and optimize cloud-based data storage and processing solutions using Snowflake
Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes
Collaborate with Federated teams and other data engineers to understand data requirements and deliver highquality data solutions
Ensure data integrity and security across all data workflows and storage solutions
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, addressing any issues promptly to ensure the smooth flow of data
Develop reusable and modular stored procedures and scripts for data processing
Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance and best practices

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Computer Science required
A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in a related field
Proven leadership in DevOps strategy and execution, including guiding agile teams through complex infrastructure and automation initiatives
Comprehensive understanding of enterprise networking and security architectures, including advanced routing, switching, firewall policies, and zero-trust principles across hybrid environments
Architectural expertise in scalable web application infrastructure, including DNS, CDN, reverse proxies, load balancers, service meshes, and distributed microservices
Mastery of container orchestration in production environments, with deep experience in Kubernetes (including multi-cluster and hybrid deployments), Helm, and Docker Compose
Advanced cloud engineering skills across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with hands-on leadership in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration Management (CM) using Terraform, Packer, Ansible, and related tools
Strategic CI/CD leadership, including designing and optimizing pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and integrating security, compliance, and observability
Advanced Git expertise, including governance of branching strategies, release workflows, and integration with automated deployment systems
Experience in architecting and implementing Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutions in cloud and hybrid environments
Leadership in image lifecycle management, including automated creation, hardening, and deployment of machine images (e.g., AMIs, OVAs)
Deep familiarity with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, especially in multi-tenant or cloud-native networking contexts
Understanding of machine learning infrastructure, including model deployment pipelines, GPU resource scaling, and MLOps integration
