Program Evaluation & Assessment Intern - Summer 2026
Cheekwood Estate & Gardens offers a unique internship opportunity for university undergraduate students interested in program evaluation and assessment. The Program Evaluation and Assessment Intern will work closely with the education and public programs staff to implement data collection tools and conduct evaluations of various programs, culminating in a final project that aligns with both personal learning goals and departmental needs.

Responsibilities
Assist with the design and implementation of evaluations for a selection of Cheekwood’s Public and Educational ongoing programming
Conduct a semester-long project focused on program evaluation and assessment
Support onsite and/or virtual data collection
Collect, analyze and present data findings to department at the end of the semester
Collaborate with Marketing, Visitor Services, Curatorial and Development teams, as needed
Help translate findings into actionable recommendations for staff and leadership

Required
Data Analytics and Evaluation
Basic Qualitative and Quantitative Data Research
Visitor Experience
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills
Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with staff and the public
Junior or Senior at the undergraduate level
Preferred
Area of Study: Arts or Humanities, Communication, Education, Marketing, Museum Studies, Nonprofit Management
