Background in sports operations, sports broadcasting, sports writing, or betting/trading is acceptable
Passion for and understanding of sports (NFL, NBA, MLB) is highly important
Sports betting knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory
Candidates without sports familiarity may face a steeper learning curve
Senior candidates are acceptable as long as expectations are aligned (role remains part-time)
Must be comfortable working extensively in Google Sheets (including formulas/lookups)
Will use an internal proprietary admin tool for contest setup and live scoring
Operational efficiency is prioritized over purely analytical skills
