The Boeing Company is seeking Weights & Mass Properties Engineers to join our team in one of the locations in Missouri. The individual in this role will provide mass properties weight estimation, tracking, management, and design trades as part of the Air Dominance team.

Responsibilities

Develop weight, balance and mass properties data. Determines approaches to developing data and analyzes and compares results
Define weight, balance and mass properties related design requirements
Participate in developing customer specification commitments
Provide vehicle or system configuration guidance impacting design team weight control efforts
Estimate, calculate & measure, and verifies mass, weight, stiffness and inertias of components, assemblies and completed vehicles or systems
Develop and maintains weight, balance and mass properties accounting systems and generates weight and balance reports
Create, develop and implement new processes and tools to facilitate improved design and analysis capabilities
Work under general direction

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Related engineering experience
The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements may be required for these positions

Preferred

Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
