Director of Portfolio & Partner Management

Responsibilities
Own and maintain Anatomy IT’s product catalog ensuring accurate, up-to-date information is available to Sales, Pre-Sales and Delivery teams
Define and execute portfolio strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management, ensuring offerings align with market demand, company objectives, and customer needs
Define product and solution standards, including scope, supported configurations, and requirements, while partnering with Service Delivery and Operations to ensure alignment with installation, support, and operational workflows
Collaborate with Service Delivery, Security, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure offerings are scalable, supportable, and compliant with healthcare and industry best practices
Define pricing strategy, margin management, and cost optimization across the entire portfolio of solutions and services
Lead product launches, enhancements, and retirement processes while ensuring documentation, enable continuous training, and internal enablement materials are updated
Identify market gaps, new opportunities, and competitive differentiators to inform strategic decisions
Ensure product standards and offerings align with Anatomy IT’s risk management, security, and regulatory obligations, in partnership with Security and Compliance leadership
Research, evaluate, and onboard strategic technology partners and vendors based on defined technical, security, operational, and commercial standards
Maintain and grow partner relationships, negotiate contracts, renewals, and performance agreements to maximize value for Anatomy IT
Conduct regular reviews to assess partner performance, security posture, cost efficiency, and alignment with company objectives and market strategy
Manage and mentor the Solution Architect, Presales Engineer, and Quoting Team to ensure high-quality solution design, proposal accuracy, and sales enablement
Develop and maintain presales processes, methodologies, and best practices for consistent and scalable solutions
Establish and govern pre-sales solution standards and reference architectures to ensure repeatability, scalability, and reduced delivery risk
Oversee technical discovery, solution validation, and deal support for complex opportunities
Ensure accurate, timely, and margin-aligned quotes while enabling Sales to respond efficiently to customer needs
Provide guidance on complex deals, including product configuration, pricing, and partner involvement
When required, directly support Sales Engineering, Presales, and Quoting activities, including solution design and pricing, to backfill team capacity and unblock critical opportunities while maintaining portfolio, margin, and risk standards
Act as a key liaison between Sales, Service Delivery, Security Operations, Finance, and Marketing to ensure alignment across products, partners, and go-to-market initiatives
Partner with Service Delivery and Operations to ensure product and solution standards align with installation processes, support workflows, and ongoing operational requirements
Support Sales leadership in deal strategy, customer engagements, and partner coordination
Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and vendor spend optimization
Work with Marketing to develop messaging, positioning, enablement materials, and campaigns for products and partner solutions
Approve portfolio definitions, pricing models, lifecycle decisions, and product retirement strategies
Lead partner selection and provide recommendations on strategic vendor investments or exits
Influence contract terms, discounting, and vendor agreements
Establish presales and quoting standards, methodologies, and escalation processes
Approve or deny non-standard product, pricing, or solution exceptions in accordance with Anatomy IT standards
Qualification
Required
Experience supporting healthcare-focused technology services organizations, particularly in healthcare IT, cybersecurity, or other regulated environments
Strong understanding of healthcare operational, security, and compliance requirements and how they influence solution design, pricing, and delivery
Familiarity with healthcare buyer personas, including VP of IT, Director of IT, CIO, Compliance leadership, and executive stakeholders
Experience working with or managing strategic technology partners, vendors, and alliances within an MSP, MSSP, or adjacent services model
Demonstrated experience governing complex service portfolios, including scope definition, pricing guardrails, margin management, and lifecycle decisions
Working knowledge of cybersecurity and managed services portfolios, such as MDR, EDR, email security, vulnerability management, security awareness training, compliance services, cloud infrastructure, and managed IT services
