This role involves teaching, advising doctoral students, and providing leadership for the EdD program in partnership with Nanyang Science and Technology College, along with various administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Travel at least once a year to Singapore to observe teaching, meet with faculty, to ensure academic quality and serve as a conduit to Drake SOE community
Update and maintain doctoral handbook addendum for Singapore
Update, and maintain Dissertations in Practice process and handbook
Review and approve marketing and recruitment materials produced by NSTC (in conjunction with Drake Global Affairs)
Coordinate instructors for classes and any hiring of adjuncts working with the Doctoral Program Director
Coordinate with NSTC Teaching Assistants for online courses
Support & serve as a direct line of communication for Singapore faculty and NSTC as it relates to the EdD in Singapore program
Oversee administrative process for the EdD in Singapore
Lead Singapore EdD assessment process for HLC and Drake in collaboration with the SOE Associate Dean
Serve on the SOE Doctoral Program Committee
Other related duties as assigned and consistent with the above job description

Required

A PhD, EdD, or EdLD in Education or related field

Experience teaching in higher education
