Tax Administrative Assistant
Trident Consulting is a global leader in business and technology services, seeking a Tax Administrative Assistant to support their tax team. The role involves processing sensitive tax-related documents and providing administrative support, ideal for current college students looking to gain experience in tax or administrative operations.
Responsibilities
Open, review, and sort incoming mail containing tax-related documents
Determine appropriate routing of documents to internal departments or individuals
Ensure all materials are handled securely and confidentially
Log, track, scan, print, and upload documents using Microsoft Office tools
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Follow established document-handling and security procedures
Communicate with internal team members to clarify document routing issues
Provide light administrative support to the tax team as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Current college students encouraged to apply
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to operate standard office equipment (printers, scanners)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Prior tax or administrative experience is helpful but not required

Reliable and punctual with the ability to maintain consistent weekly hours
