Behavioral Health & Policy Analyst
The California Department of Health Care Access and Information is dedicated to ensuring healthcare access for all Californians. The Behavioral Health & Policy Analyst will perform analytical, technical, and coordination duties to develop and implement behavioral health and healthcare policies, while collaborating with various stakeholders to analyze legislation and make policy recommendations.

Responsibilities
Perform analytical, technical, and coordination duties in the development and implementation of broad behavioral health and healthcare policies for the Office of Health Workforce Development (OHWD), including the BH-CONNECT initiative
Act as a subject matter expert on special project teams to support ongoing quality improvement and implementation of OHWD’s portfolio of behavioral health and health workforce initiatives
Work collaboratively with OHWD management to analyze legislation and to make recommendations for revising and/or developing new policies
Work with other governmental agencies, the public, and educational institutions throughout California

Required
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
