Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud security controls
Monitor and mitigate threats
Ensure compliance and protection of cloud environments across enterprise platforms
Enhancing patching and vulnerability management processes and procedures
Implementing security controls in accordance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53 Revision 5 (R5) at the moderate impact level
Reconfiguring and/or making changes to existing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities
Qualification
Required
Seven (7) years of FTE experience with developing and implementing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities
Possess a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis
One (1) year of FTE experience in one (1) or more of the technologies listed below: Enterprise Virtual Environment, Enterprise Cloud Security, Patching & Upgrading
Patching and Upgrading: 5 years (Required)
Enterprise Cloud Security and technologies: 5 years (Required)
Mitigate Security Vulnerabilities: 7 years (Required)
Preferred
Relevant, up-to-date security and technology certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), etc.)
Experience with Enterprise Virtual Environments and technologies
Experience with Enterprise Cloud Security and technologies
Experience with patching and upgrading
