Responsibilities
Serve as a core member of the project team delivering Identity and Biometric solutions
Collaborate directly with customers during project setup and implementation (onsite presence may be required)
Design validation strategies and develop scripts for automated testing where applicable
Ensure reliability, robustness, and performance of end-to-end solutions using QA and engineering expertise
Understand solution architecture and software components to optimize test coverage and reduce risk
Create and execute quality assurance plans, acceptance test plans, validation test plans, and test scripts in alignment with project management processes
Define validation scenarios to ensure full requirements coverage and successful implementation
Execute tests and manage defect tracking in JIRA across validation and UAT environments
Review specifications, technical design documents, and test scripts for multiple system components
Identify opportunities for test automation and expand regression coverage
Partner with Project Managers, Technical Leads, and cross-functional teams to meet timelines and quality expectations
Qualification
Required
Manual testing experience (primary focus of the role)
API testing experience is required (SOAP and REST)
Daily use of JIRA and Confluence
Ability to write formal test plans and execute project validation
Experience developing and articulating test strategies
5+ years validating Windows and web applications using .NET and/or Java platforms
5+ years working in fast-paced, high-technology environments
3+ years experience with validation methodologies including functional, integration, performance, usability, and acceptance testing
Strong knowledge of IVVQ methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience estimating IVVQ activities, tracking risks, schedules, and corrective actions
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent professional experience
