Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans for electrical data center projects
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal specifications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain a culture of quality excellence
Evaluate and qualify suppliers and contractors to ensure they meet quality and performance standards
Conduct supplier audits and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications
Work closely with procurement teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management detailing project quality performance and areas for improvement
Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices
Develop and deliver training programs to ensure all project personnel understand and adhere to quality control processes
Stay abreast of industry advancements and changes in standards, and provide training to the team as necessary
Ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices
Work closely with regulatory agencies during inspections and approvals
Collaborate with health and safety teams to integrate quality control processes with safety protocols
Monitor and enforce environmental and safety compliance within the project site
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in quality control/assurance within the electrical construction industry
4+ years in hands on electrical field or project engineering work
Strong understanding of solar project construction processes and standards
Strong computer skills and experience with basic computer programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft AX, Microsoft Project, etc.)
Proven experience in quality control/assurance within the utility-scale solar industry
Knowledge of relevant regulations and certifications (ISO, IEC, NEC, etc.)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred
Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence)
