Walker Elliott is partnering with a leading client to identify a Sales Manager with deep experience in specialty food products. This role will drive nationwide sales growth and expand distribution across food retailers and specialty food service distributors.

Drive nationwide sales growth and expand distribution across food retailers and specialty food service distributors
Lead new business development
Open new distribution channels
Personally execute the sales activities that take products from concept to shelf
Qualification
Required
8+ years of progressive sales experience within CPG, food retail, and/or food service industries
Proven ability to open new accounts and expand distribution, especially with specialty or differentiated food categories
Demonstrated success in tactical sales execution, including prospecting, proposals, pricing, follow-up, and issue resolution-not just managing brokers or teams
Track record of career progression and sustained performance, rather than short-term roles
Direct experience working with food retailers, specialty distributors, brokers, and food service customers
Strong commercial understanding of forecasting, inventory planning, and cross-functional operations
Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally
Authorized to work in the United States for any employer as client company cannot sponsor or transfer visas at this time
Preferred
Spanish language fluency is highly preferred for customer and distributor engagement
