Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret financial data from various departments to include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
Assist in generating accurate and timely financial statements through month-end close process
Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation
Generate monthly financial packages including: financial statements, financial graphs, tables and other exhibits to be used in reports
Complete bank reconciliations using accounting software
Complete account reconciliations monthly
Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules on accounting software
Be prepared for and participate in company meetings
Review processes and offer suggestions for improvement
Ad hoc special projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 3-5 years of senior accounting level experience
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficient in Microsoft Products, including Microsoft Excel
Ability to present financial results professionally
Willingness to work extra hours when necessary to meet deadlines
Ability and intuition to analyze financial data evidenced by creating spreadsheets
Ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet and/or exceed deadlines
Maintain confidentiality of accounting and company information
Possess and convey positive can-do attitude
Able to work independently
Genuine hard worker with desire to produce timely and accurate results
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
CPA Preferred
MBA a plus
Eagerness to learn about the medical billing industry and grow with the company
Ability to show strong leadership skills as well as taking initiative to accomplish goals
Professional communication skills exercised when sending emails and documenting financial results
