Administrative Assistant I
University of Utah Health Research is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to provide complex administrative support for department management and facilitate the workflow of a busy wellness center. The role includes handling patient registration, scheduling, and general office support while greeting and assisting visitors.
Higher Education
Responsibilities
Receives, greets, and directs visitors to appropriate person or office
Schedules appointments for patients
Answers telephones, providing assistance and directing customers
Manages shared email inboxes
Answers questions about the organization and associated programs
Provide other administrative support as projects arise
Qualification
Required
1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience)
Requires little to no related experience
Preferred
Passion for health and wellness
Bilingual (especially Spanish)
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
University of Utah Health experience and/or healthcare experience (especially EPIC experience)
