Project Analyst
Trilyon, Inc. is a leader in global workforce solutions specializing in Cloud Technology, AI/ML, and Software Development. They are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator/Project Analyst to support construction and infrastructure projects, focusing on permit acquisition and serving as a liaison between internal teams and governmental agencies.
Responsibilities
Review complex project plans and construction drawings with planners to identify required permits for construction of facilities
Determine appropriate internal resources needed to support permit acquisition efforts
Communicate with governmental agencies and external organizations to obtain favorable permit conditions
Develop and maintain relationships with permitting staff to ensure accurate application submissions and timely approvals
Prepare, submit, and obtain approved excavation, encroachment, and traffic control permits
Act as a single point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to permit applications
Provide approved permits to project managers and construction teams prior to project start
Track and report permit application status to internal stakeholders
Address unfavorable or unacceptable permit conditions and escalate issues as needed
Mentor entry-level permit and contract specialists
Support and monitor new business processes while ensuring compliance with organizational standards
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Three to five years of experience in an analytical or coordination role utilizing database programs and spreadsheet software
Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data
Experience handling multiple programs, projects, and assignments concurrently
Strong oral and written communication skills
Associate's degree in a related field required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred
Three or more years of experience in permitting, planning, engineering, construction, inspection, utility design, and/or project management support
Proven experience acquiring excavation, encroachment, and traffic control permits
Proficiency in working with governmental agencies to obtain construction permits
Experience supporting construction timelines and coordinating with field personnel and clients
Ability to report project and permit status to internal and external stakeholders
Strong capability to serve as a point of contact for permit-related inquiries
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred
Working knowledge of systems development, software/hardware tools, and project methodologies preferred
