Responsibilities
Lead and manage the daily activities of the production test team to ensure accurate, timely testing of production components and finished products
Partner closely with engineering to ensure test scripts, equipment, plans, and procedures are developed during the design phase to enable efficient, cost-effective production testing
Monitor team performance, provide coaching and constructive feedback, and address issues that arise during the testing process, including leadership of both union and non-union team members
Investigate the root causes of defective materials and coordinate corrective actions
Develop and execute product test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent military experience in electrical systems or electrical systems testing
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, product, and system testing
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transformer manufacturing
At least 2 years of experience leading direct reports
U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-controlled data
