Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust and reusable automation frameworks using Python and PyTest
Automate CATP test cases across multiple airline domains including Crew, Maintenance, and Passenger systems
Work within existing automation architecture while adhering to established coding standards and best practices
Implement UI automation using tools such as Appium, Applitools, Playwright, and Squish
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitLab
Perform API testing using JMeter and Postman to validate backend services
Utilize Docker and virtual environments to simulate test scenarios and improve test coverage
Execute, debug, and troubleshoot test cases on Linux environments using command-line tools
Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and AI teams
Validate and refine AI-generated test cases , providing feedback to improve AI models
Conduct unit and integration testing of automation scripts
Maintain clear documentation for automation frameworks, test cases, and integrations
Share test execution results, defects, and insights with stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Python, PyTest, and automation frameworks (Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework)
Hands-on expertise in UI automation using Appium, Applitools, Playwright, and Squish
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
Working knowledge of Docker and virtualized test environments
Proficiency in Linux command-line operations
Experience with API testing tools including JMeter and Postman
Exposure to airline or transportation domain is a plus
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or AI-related fields
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience collaborating with AI or ML teams is a plus
