Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers to design, build, and refine Power BI dashboards that transform complex data into clear, actionable insights, demonstrating ROI and performance improvements
Develop and monitor customized key performance metrics and KPIs (e.g., Net Promoter Score, First Pass Rate) tailored to customer needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Conduct advanced data mining and analysis using SQL and data warehousing techniques to uncover trends, correlations, and insights that drive business improvements
Analyze operational datasets to discover deep, actionable insights that deliver measurable value to customers, enhancing process efficiency and effectiveness
Experiment with advanced visualization techniques and infographics in Power BI to maximize data clarity and actionability for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Work closely with Customer Success, Implementation, and Data Science teams to identify data-driven process improvements and innovate new value drivers from Skan.ai’s platform
Participate in customer value engineering meetings to gain firsthand insights into business value requirements, ensuring analytics solutions align with customer goals
Contribute to the development and standardization of Skan.ai’s value engineering framework, creating industry-specific templates and report structures to streamline value delivery across projects
Translate complex data into compelling, data-driven stories that support strategic business decisions and enhance customer outcomes
Collaborate with the Data Science team to explore new analytical approaches, leveraging emerging tools and techniques to unlock additional value from data
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field, with hands-on expertise in Databricks/Snowflake and Microsoft Power BI
Strong proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and online analytical processing (OLAP), with expert knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack (Power Pivot, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
Proficiency in Python for data parsing, structuring, and transformation to support advanced analytics workflows
Demonstrated ability to create intuitive, user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate process insights to diverse audiences
Proven track record of conducting business process analysis and research across various industries, with experience in process mining or process analytics
Experience in value engineering or business value analysis, with the ability to analyze economic and corporate trends to support value-based discussions
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical thinking with a focus on translating data into actionable business recommendations that drive measurable outcomes
Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating across organizational boundaries in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
