Sr. Systems Analyst - Product Owner Analyst
Con Edison is a leading energy company in New York, and they are seeking a highly motivated Product Owner Analyst to join their team. This hybrid role involves managing the product backlog, performing in-depth business analysis, and acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure product delivery aligns with business goals.

Responsibilities
Prioritize the product backlog by balancing business value, technical effort, and market demand to ensure the development team is focused on delivering the highest value
Define and write clear, concise user stories with acceptance criteria, epics, and features; to ensure the development team understands what needs to be built
Conduct backlog grooming sessions with the development team to refine and elaborate on user stories
Create detailed business requirements documentation, process flow diagrams, and user journey maps
Gather and analyze market and user feedback, incorporating data-driven insights into the product development process
Facilitate key agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, sprint reviews, and customer training sessions
Work closely with the development team to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguities, and ensure a shared understanding of the product vision
Collaborate with UX/UI designers and other teams to create optimal user experiences
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and review completed work to confirm it meets the defined acceptance criteria
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree and a minimum of two (2) years full-time work experience or
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three (3) years full-time work experience or
Associate's Degree and a minimum of four (4) years full-time work experience or
High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years full-time work experience
Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or a combined hybrid role in Agile environments
Strong backlog management, story writing, and prioritization skills
Familiarity with a broad range of Infrastructure and application concepts (e.g. servers, networks, databases, application concepts etc
Strong understanding of widely recognized ITSM frameworks such as ITIL
Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Proficiency with agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps and/or other similar tools)
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau and/or other similar tools)
Proven ability to work both independently and collaborating as part of a distributed team while demonstrating key traits of creativity, initiative, and flexibility
Strong skills and experience with MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to plan, organize and lead meetings. Must be able to translate functional to technical information. Must be able to develop documentation that will be consumed by users of diverse backgrounds and skills
Excellent work ethics and integrity, along with the ability to work under pressure, manage expectations and conflicts effectively and not get overwhelmed by pressures on team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive change and manage expectations
Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive decisions without formal authority
Demonstrated customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding user needs
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering, Business or applicable degree and a minimum of three (3) years full-time work experience with ServiceNow or a similar cloud-based platform for digital workflow automation
Licenses/Certifications in IIBA Certificate in Product Ownership Analysis (IIBA-CPOA), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and/or ITIL 4 Foundation certification
