Responsibilities

Lead with passion and accountability, ensuring a culture of excellence within the team
Oversee all aspects of branch operations, from staffing and training to compliance and customer satisfaction
Train, develop, and retain electricians to foster a high-performing team
Cultivate a positive and productive work environment that aligns with professional standards
Uphold our “white collar” image in the “blue collar” industry
Ensure compliance with NEC and local codes, safety protocols, and industry standards
Drive sales and profit growth for the branch through effective management and strategic planning
Oversee the training of new team members to ensure technical proficiency and service excellence
Manage scheduling and performance reviews, ensuring team members are meeting or exceeding expectations
Maintain branch equipment, tools, and inventory in a well-organized and safe manner
Monitor financial performance, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency
Conduct routine performance reviews and provide regular feedback to electricians to drive development
Actively manage and drive key performance indicators (KPIs), such as revenue, customer satisfaction, and technician productivity
Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer retention and satisfaction
Collaborate with upper management to ensure adherence to company-wide objectives and initiatives

Required

Proven experience in the electrical industry is essential
Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a strong track record of team success and growth
Strong leadership abilities with an emphasis on emotional intelligence—ability to connect with and motivate team members
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to train and mentor team members effectively
High level of integrity and trustworthiness in all business dealings
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment
Proficient in using management software and tracking tools for KPIs, revenue, and performance metrics
Experience in managing budgets and driving revenue growth
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), safety protocols, and electrical regulations
