Responsibilities
Provide information and directions to park visitors
Inform park visitors of park rules and regulations
Create, organize, and/or administer interpretive programs; conduct guided nature walks
Assist with conducting our educational School Programs
Complete incident reports and other routine documentation
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
One year related experience or have college-level coursework in environmental studies, natural resources, park management, geology, biology, or related field
Possess, or obtain upon hire, and maintain a valid, non-probationary Colorado driver's license not subject to restriction related to alcohol and/or drug violations or pending charges
Knowledge of the local environment, including geology and ecology concepts
Knowledge of environmental education and natural resources
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
Preferred
Experience working in a park, visitor center, or museum setting
Experience creating and delivering interpretive programs
