Quantum Space is redefining mobility and maneuverability in space, and they are seeking a Deputy Program Director to support execution of the Space-Based Interceptor (SBI) program. This role involves managing program leadership efforts and driving cost, schedule, and technical performance across a complex space system.

Responsibilities

Support execution of the SBI program across cost, schedule, and technical performance
Coordinate cross-functional program leadership across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, test, and operations
Drive program planning, risk management, and issue resolution to maintain delivery commitments
Support customer engagement, internal reporting, and stakeholder alignment
Ensure program execution meets contractual requirements and internal standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Program Management, or a related field
10+ years of experience supporting or leading aerospace or defense programs
Demonstrated ownership of cost, schedule, and technical performance on complex systems
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering or Business
Missile defense, interceptor, or space vehicle program experience
Active U.S. security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
