Responsibilities
Perform functional, integration, UI, and automated testing for web-based factory software applications
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI and API testing with strong emphasis on reusability and scalability
Develop and execute automation strategies , including scripting and test planning
Integrate automated test scripts with test management tools and reporting systems
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution
Conduct backend and API testing to validate system integrations and services
Perform SQL/MySQL database validation and data integrity testing
Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues
Work in an Agile development environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve software quality, reliability, and performance
Support continuous delivery by proactively identifying risks and ensuring test coverage
Qualification
Required
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, JMeter, or similar frameworks
Strong experience in API testing and backend validation
Hands-on experience in UI testing methodologies
Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for automation
Strong knowledge of SQL/MySQL database testing
Experience working with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving environments
Preferred
Experience with manufacturing, logistics, or factory software systems
Experience building scalable test frameworks from scratch
Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools
Exposure to performance or load testing tools
