Responsibilities
Own and continuously optimize end-to-end material flow within the manufacturing facility
Establish, maintain, and govern MRP parameters, including: Safety stock policies, Lot sizes and order modifiers, Coverage fences, Routings and work center strategies, Material group classifications
Serve as the primary system authority for production control logic within D365 or comparable ERP systems, ensuring alignment between system configuration and plant execution
Monitor system performance and recommend adjustments to improve service levels, inventory turns, and manufacturing efficiency
Partner with Lean and Operations teams to drive continuous improvement, balancing customer service requirements with the plant’s optimal cost position
Act as the primary integration point between Engineering, R&D Product Management, and Operations for: New Product Introduction (NPI), Product obsolescence, Product consolidation and rationalization
Lead the setup, maintenance, and governance of: New part numbers for branded and private label products, Bills of material (BOMs), Routings and manufacturing flows, Packaging specifications and configurations
Apply strong tooling and manufacturing process knowledge to ensure products are manufacturable, scalable, and economically viable
Serve as a key technical and operational resource for Sales Managers, providing timely input on manufacturability, cost structure, and feasibility
Support efforts to systematically align and integrate product lines, enabling standardization, simplification, and synergy realization
Ensure consistent data structures, routing logic, and costing methodologies across product families and manufacturing processes
Influence cross-functional decisions through data-driven analysis, strong business acumen, and deep operational understanding
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
8–12+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with direct responsibility for production control, MRP, manufacturing systems, or product integration
Advanced MRP/ERP experience required; Microsoft D365 strongly preferred
Proven experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Lean, Operations, Sales, and Product Management teams
Preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost, flow, and service optimization
Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority
Clear and effective communicator across technical, operational, and commercial audiences
High level of business acumen with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
