Responsibilities
Develop wiring and program layouts for test fixtures
Documentation and generation of detailed reports
PC programming via Python or other languages
Build test fixtures using Dev boards such as Arduino/Teenzy/Adafruit etc
Troubleshoot bugs and validation of fixes. Deep dive into nuisance issues to assist ODM with root cause
Monitor existing automated testing for failures and improvements needed
Basic electrical work (soldering/low voltage circuit wiring)
3D printing fixture components
Design and assemble testing machines and fixtures
Perform routine maintenance of test benches, equipment, instruments, facility, etc
Develop detailed test procedures and complete the necessary paperwork to record and report test results
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
1-2 years of Experience in PC based programming, or related field
Python Experience
Must understand electronics and circuitry
Must be able to work flexible hours
At least one year of experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Associate degree in Technology or Electronics or related field
2-4 years of experience in consumer electronics testing, Software Programming, or related field
Familiarity with testing and troubleshooting methods
Passionate about the outdoors
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Preferred
Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds
Must be able to stand and work in high temperatures indoors and outdoors while performing duties of this job
Must use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hand and arms
Must be able to see all parts of the product to test for functionality
