Establish and sustain a strong externally funded research program in their field of expertise, individually and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary research cluster
Produce an excellent record of scholarly publications
Incorporate modern pedagogical skills in Nanoengineering courses
Supervise and support students in research projects
Provide service to the Department of Nanoengineering, the School, and University as well as to appropriate community and professional organizations
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in a relevant discipline by the anticipated appointment date
Outstanding research record
Establish and sustain a strong externally funded research program in their field of expertise
Produce an excellent record of scholarly publications
Incorporate modern pedagogical skills in Nanoengineering courses
Supervise and support students in research projects
Provide service to the Department of Nanoengineering, the School, and University as well as to appropriate community and professional organizations
Preferred
Research experience or interests in one or more of the current department focus areas of nanomaterials and mechanics, nanobioelectronics, computational nanoengineering, nano energy, and nanotoxicity
