Warehouse Operations Manager

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end warehouse operations across all functional areas (inbound, outbound, inventory, value added services, returns, automation), ensuring consistent execution against service, cost, and quality targets
Serve as the primary operational leader for a multi-brand, multi-channel environment; ensure each brand and channel’s unique SLAs and priorities are met
Translate site-level strategy into clear operational plans; set daily, weekly, and seasonal priorities and targets and ensure disciplined execution across all teams
Lead, coach, and develop salaried managers and hourly leads, build a strong leadership bench with clear expectations, accountability, and succession planning
Drive a people-first, performance-driven culture that emphasizes safety, engagement, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
Partner closely with the DC Manager to identify risks, capacity constraints, and improvement opportunities; provide clear data-backed recommendations
Ensure labor, equipment, and automation are effectively balanced to optimize throughput, inventory accuracy, and operating costs
Own operational readiness for peak periods and volume surges; ensure staffing, processes, and systems are prepared in advance
Hold teams accountable to SOP adherence while continuously evaluating and improving workflows, layouts, and standard work
Ensure SAP (WMS) execution discipline across all areas; reinforce system accuracy, transaction integrity, and proper use of tools to run the operation
Review and act on operational KPIs; identify trends, root causes, and corrective actions to improve service, productivity, and quality
Lead cross-functional problem solving with IT, Transportation, and Brand partners to resolve systemic and operational issues
Champion safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards; ensure operations meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements
Support and execute continuous improvement initiatives that increase capacity, improve service levels, and reduce operational costs
Represent operations in leadership forums; communicate clearly, escalate appropriately, and model strong judgment and ownership
Qualification
Required
5+ years progressive experience in a fast-paced, high volume distribution operation which included automation
5+ years prior experience managing a team
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage staff
Project management skills
Comfortable communicating and collaborating with different personalities, cultures, and experience levels
Strong background using WMS/MRP/and or WCS systems
Proficiency using Microsoft Office
Knowledge of SAP
Knowledge of Lean principles and tools
Preferred
A bachelor's degree in a business-related field with a focus on supply chain, logistics or other operational types is preferred; equivalent work experience in lieu of degree may be considered
