Responsibilities

Adhering to project schedules and managing the work of project team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and with strong methodological rigor
Determining whether sufficient evidence exists to demonstrate compliance with government laws and policies, applying established criteria and professional judgment
Conducting quality checks on compliance ratings and justifications, and completing additional reviews and reconciliation when discrepancies arise across reviewers
Conducting onsite compliance reviews, including document reviews and verification activities, to assess adherence to state requirements

Required

Advanced degree (e.g., Master's or Doctorate) in Education, Public Policy, Social Science or a related discipline
15+ years of education research and evaluation experience
Demonstrated experience leading staff on research and evaluation efforts
Ability to lead staff engaged in research and evaluation activities, ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and high‑quality outputs
Skill in interpreting state education laws and policies and applying them accurately to project work and deliverables
Strong attention to detail, including the ability to maintain accuracy and apply quality‑check processes consistently
Demonstrated capacity to adhere to project schedules, manage timelines, and complete tasks within short or competing deadlines
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining high performance and professionalism
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment, taking full ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables
Commitment to sound business ethics, including safeguarding proprietary and confidential information

Preferred

Proficiency in MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative, sound decision‑making, and strong problem‑solving skills
