Responsibilities
Lead electrical design decisions across analog, digital, power, safety, and communications domains
Own the electrical lifecycle from requirements and architecture through schematic design, PCB development, verification/validation, and manufacturing handoff
Translate product requirements into detailed engineering specs, test plans, and design control documentation
Partner closely with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure robust system integration
Improve and maintain PCB design workflows, libraries, and engineering documentation to support long-term scalability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or closely related)
10+ years of experience in embedded hardware / electromechanical systems (robotics experience is a plus, not required)
Proven experience taking products from prototype production (DFM/DFT, verification, manufacturing transfer)
Strong embedded systems background including microcontrollers and mixed-signal design
Experience with high-speed/real-time interfaces such as CAN/CAN-FD, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C (PCIe a plus)
Preferred
Experience with motor control, battery-powered/mobile systems, or safety-critical platforms
Familiarity with Altium Designer (preferred) or similar PCB tools
Comfort working across Linux/Windows and various development/debug tools
