Senior Technical Sales Engineer

Responsibilities
Territory Management: While you will be involved at a global level, your day-to-day focus will be regional. You will aggressively "hunt" for new business and drive growth within your territory
Technical Consultation: Conduct site visits, review design plans, and work closely with design teams to positively influence equipment specifications
Stakeholder Management: Navigate complex decision-making units by building relationships with a diverse range of contacts, from Lighting Designers and Production Managers to Promoters and Band Management
Proposal Delivery: Collaborate with internal Project Managers to create accurate technical quotes and present winning proposals to clients
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the global live events industry
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of relationship-based selling in B2B industrial or technical sales
A track record of succeeding with clients on a relationship basis
An engineering background OR significant 'time-served' industry experience
Experience managing long, complex sales cycles (3–12 months)
Experience selling high-value solutions ($500k+)
An up-to-date passport
Availability to work flexible hours and travel on average one week per month
Preferred
Existing network of contacts within the live event sector
Experience with stage lighting equipment
