New GradNew College of Florida is seeking a Student Assistant for Campus Recreation/Lifeguard. The role involves maintaining Campus Recreation spaces, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various projects while attaining necessary lifeguard certifications.

Responsibilities
Open and close the Campus Recreation spaces following procedural process
Work to assist in the maintenance of a well-functioning program
Logging in students/staff/faculty
Keeping inventory of materials and signing out equipment to NCF affiliates
Organizing equipment, cleaning tasks, and managing spaces
Helping with projects assigned by supervisor
Give tours of spaces and equipment
Provide exceptional customer service
Be knowledgeable about equipment in whichever Campus Recreation space you are working
Work on Focus Team projects
Staying up to date about events/programming
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Full-time NCF student
Ability to lift 45lbs
Must get lifeguard, CPR, and first aid certified within 4 months of starting date
Required Swim test
Ability to work with minor supervision and direction
Ability to problem solve when it comes to improving Campus Recreation programs
Knowledgeable about some type of fitness/health, equipment use, safety, watersports, boating, aquatics or related activities
Knowledgeable about Google Workspace/Apps
Attend all MANDATORY training/events
Preferred
Strong knowledge of how to use ZOOM, Google Meets, YouTube and streaming is a plus
