Responsibilities
Research, design, and develop mechanical components—focused primarily on turbochargers and related engine systems
Support NPI programs, contributing to product design, validation, and market introduction
Conduct root cause analysis and participate in warranty investigations to resolve field issues
Analyze design proposals, specifications, and performance data to determine feasibility and improvement opportunities
Collaborate with drafting and CAD teams to develop accurate engineering drawings & documentation
Perform testing at internal facilities or partner labs; provide technical support for manufacturing and production teams
Communicate findings and recommendations through clear reports, technical documentation, and team reviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology
4+ years of mechanical engineering experience in engines, automotive, equipment, or similar industries
Strong hands-on experience with mechanical systems (engines, vehicles, farm equipment, or machinery)
Proficiency in reading/interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, GD&T, and CAD-based models
Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
Experience with product development cycles (NPI preferred)
Preferred
Experience with turbochargers or engine air-handling systems
Familiarity with testing environments, performance validation, and mechanical diagnostics
Project management skills—ability to manage tasks, timelines, and cross-functional interactions
