Responsibilities
Lead ideation, design, and support of new and existing products, including design changes, troubleshooting, and innovation
Perform product investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Provide technical support for existing and new products, primarily focused on electrical and circuit-related issues
Develop test protocols, execute product testing, and generate reports using in-house laboratory resources
Plan, execute, and manage engineering projects from concept through implementation
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Supply Chain teams
Create and support engineering change orders (ECOs) and associated technical documentation
Maintain product quality and support CAPA activities to ensure compliance and performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (required)
6+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering
Strong experience with board layout and circuit design, including electrical assemblies, trace changes, and R&D testing across analog and digital systems
Hands-on experience with signal processing, power electronics, cabling, and system-level electrical integration
Proficiency in PCB design software (Altium preferred); experience with other design tools acceptable
Experience performing product testing across RF ranges, including low- and high-power applications (up to several hundred watts)
Product development experience with the ability to support projects from concept through release
Experience working in a regulated industry such as medical devices or aerospace, including documentation and compliance requirements
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) in regulated environments
Proficiency using laboratory and test equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, network analyzers, impedance analyzers, and power meters
Preferred
Proficiency in PCB design software (Altium preferred); experience with other design tools acceptable
