NDT Inspector (Level II)

Responsibilities
Perform UT and MT inspections on various materials and equipment
Interpret test results and document findings
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve issues
Submit daily inspection reports within - Maintain 90%+ completion of all assigned safety training
Target zero avoidable safety or equipment incidents
Submit 98% of draft reports within 8 hours — with minimal revisions
Maintain 95% on-time site check-in/check-out
Less than 1 serious issue per quarter related to Inspections, Measuring, and Test Equipment due to technician error, lack of maintenance, or lost/damaged equipment
Maintain accurate inspection records using AEIS digital reporting tools
Review and verify technical documents (e.g., WPS/PQR, lab results, etc.)
Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and QA/QC Specialists
Contribute to lessons-learned discussions and workflow improvements
Qualification
Required
UT (Ultrasonic Testing - Shear Wave) and MT (Magnetic Testing) Level 2 certifications
1-10 years in NDT inspection (UT, MT)
OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication and attention to detail
Willingness to travel to project sites
Preferred
AWS CWI or ICC Bolting certifications
Experience with public infrastructure projects
Familiarity with structural steel construction practices
