Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications using Lit JavaScript (LitElement) and UI Builder / Next Experience
Build reusable web components and responsive UI experiences aligned with ServiceNow UX standards
Develop and customize ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HRSD, CSM, or custom scoped apps)
Implement client-side and server-side logic using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, and Business Rules
Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
Collaborate with UX designers, architects, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Optimize application performance, security, and accessibility
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and platform upgrades
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and governance standards
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
Strong expertise in Lit JavaScript / LitElement
Experience with ServiceNow UI Builder, Now Experience Framework, and Workspace
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture
Experience with Glide APIs, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Business Rules
Hands-on experience with REST API integrations
Preferred
Familiarity with scoped applications and application lifecycle management
