Responsibilities
Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy and support internal Salesforce applications
Enhance Experience cloud to support external customers
Update the DevOps process using in-grown tools and process and assist in identifying efficiencies
Update and maintain the test automations suite built using Cucumber/Selenium
Deliver projects in Agile methodologies
Support planning activities, such as impact assessments, level of effort analysis and developer task assignments
Integrate microservices with the salesforce platform using APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), platform events and other integration mechanisms like MuleSoft
Conduct regular code reviews to ensure best practices are being followed
Support production issues when required
Qualification
Required
Active Salesforce Developer Certification
Hands-on experience with OOP (Object Oriented Programming)
Apex development and Salesforce Lightning experience
Good experience in Java or Python programming
Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins or similar tools)
10-15 years' experience in Information Technology
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent working experience
10+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation and production support on Salesforce, backend development and API Integration
Solid understanding of salesforce development concepts, including Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning components(Aura/LWC) and salesforce APIs
Solid understanding and working knowledge of test automation tools (Cucumber, Selenium, etc.)
Proven experience designing, developing and deploying microservices using technologies such as Java, Spring boot etc
Experience with message queues and event streaming platforms
Familiarity with API design principles and best practices
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins and GitLab)
Required Salesforce Developer Certifications
Demonstrates ability to analytically address complex problems, process critical data, establish facts, and draw quality conclusions
Preferred
3+ years' experience developing in MuleSoft
Experience in Python scripting to enhance scripts leveraged to maintain the platform
