TRAINING COORDINATOR

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a hospitality minded Training Coordinator to join their team based at the United Airlines lounge operations in San Francisco. The role involves overseeing, enhancing, and tracking training programs for associates, implementing and evaluating training initiatives that align with the company's goals and elevate service standards.

Responsibilities

Implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing associates, focusing on customer service, operational procedures, technology, and compliance standards. Assist in development as needed
Regularly review and provide recommendations for updates to existing training collateral
Conduct regular assessments to identify training needs and gaps in skills among staff members, utilizing feedback and performance metrics
Lead training sessions and workshops, ensuring engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles
Provide ongoing support and mentorship to employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance reviews, making adjustments as necessary
Work closely with department heads to ensure alignment of training programs with operational goals and guest expectations
Manage scheduling and keep up with participant progress for all training initiatives
Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness for reporting and compliance purposes
Stay updated on hospitality industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance training content and methods

Required

3+ years of experience in hospitality training or a similar role
Strong knowledge of operations and service standards
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, training, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Outstanding organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and high workload—must be able to adapt to frequent change
Proven ability to deliver effective training programs
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and training software
Work schedule will be determined by training needs and requirements

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
Airport lounge experience a plus
Certification in training or instructional design is a plus
Bi-Lingual a plus: Tagalog, Chinese
