Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and enhance long-term forecast models to support strategic and operational planning
Design complex financial models that are accurate, transparent, and scalable
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Troubleshoot, audit, and improve existing models to resolve errors and enhance performance
Document assumptions, calculations, and data flows to ensure clarity and repeatability
Partner cross-functionally to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and align on forecasts
Translate complex model outputs into clear takeaways for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for leadership decision-making
Stay current on best practices and evolving tools in financial modeling and forecasting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or modeling
Proven experience building long-term forecasting models
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through complex calculations and data structures
Demonstrated ability to validate, troubleshoot, and improve models
Solid understanding of financial statements, forecasting methodologies, and valuation concepts
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Preferred
Advanced degree or professional certification (MBA, CFA, CPA, or similar)
Experience in regulated, asset-heavy, or infrastructure-focused industries
Exposure to automation, advanced analytics, or AI-supported forecasting
Experience working with large data environments, databases, or BI tools
