The Wealthspire Retirement Intern will assist the investment team with data gathering, investment research, and communication with advisors while gaining hands-on experience in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities
Assist investment team with data gathering and tracking on retirement income products
Establish an understanding of capital markets and asset allocation building blocks
Aid with investment quarterly updates and projects
Eagerness to learn about retirement investments and provide input where needed
Support investment team for on-going and proactive due diligence on investment managers
Qualification
Required
Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and verbal communications
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products, especially Microsoft Excel
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with a positive attitude, proactive mindset, and entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to communicate and interface effectively with Investment professionals, Executive Staff, and Human Resources professionals
Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritize
Inquisitive by nature
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred
Pursuing degree in Business, Economics or Finance
Rising senior of a four-year university
Demonstrated leadership experience in college, community, internship, or co-op experience
Interest in Investment Advisor and/or Financial Services Industry
