Inventory Control Analyst

Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy through daily cycle counting and location audits. The role involves analyzing supply and demand data to optimize stockroom efficiency and managing special inventories.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cycle counting in both primary and secondary locations to ensure inventory accuracy
Follow established procedures to identify, research, and correct inventory balance errors
Conduct daily location audits to maintain accurate inventory records
Develop and manage locations for new products, including the first cycle count and the development of weight and cube information
Analyze product supply and demand data to optimize product placement, enhance stockroom efficiency and improve productivity
Search for lost products (e.g., backordered picklists, cycle counts) and assist in problem resolution
Verify location accuracy, including primary and secondary locations, available primaries, and secondaries
Identify and quarantine suspect products until a determination is made regarding their return to stock or return to the supplier
Receive, locate, and maintain special inventories as required
Ensure the accuracy of Item Master and Item Balance records for manufactured items
Maintain an effective inventory control system to ensure all materials are accurately accounted for

Required

Ability to organize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in data entry and managing inventory systems
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Office, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships quickly
High school diploma or GED required
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
The physical demands for this position require the ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that may involve bending, stooping, or walking throughout the work environment
