1+ years expiSuite L.L.C. is seeking a qualified professional to join our Accounting team. The Project Accountant will provide project accounting support, manage billing, and conduct financial analysis for assigned projects while ensuring compliance and effective cash flow management.

Responsibilities
Providing project accounting support for assigned projects, including job setup, billing, and financial analysis
Reviewing contracts, Certificates of Insurance, and compliance requirements for accuracy and completeness
Preparing and submitting customer billings and project-related reporting, including certified payroll
Supporting accounts receivable and collections efforts to promote timely cash flow
Processing and coding subcontractor, vendor, and equipment invoices in Vista, resolving issues as needed
Monitoring project costs, budgets, and projections to ensure accurate cost and revenue recognition
Following purchasing procedures and supporting vendor coordination for assigned projects
Demonstrating strong customer service and collaboration while supporting team members as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in project accounting or a similar role
Self-starter who thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Strong oral and written communication skills with a professional, collaborative approach
High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to make sound decisions and manage multiple priorities
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Positive, ownership-driven mindset with a willingness to identify and improve processes
Preferred
Familiarity with Vista by Viewpoint is a plus
Experience in the construction industry and/or working with unions is a plus
