Responsibilities
Conduct routine and specialized laboratory testing on petroleum and chemical samples following established industry methods and safety protocols
Prepare samples and operate a range of modern analytical instruments to generate accurate, high-quality test results
Maintain, calibrate, and perform basic troubleshooting on laboratory equipment to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime
Accurately document procedures, data, and observations in laboratory information management systems (LIMS), supporting traceability and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure a timely and efficient workflow
Support quality assurance initiatives and assist with maintaining laboratory standards
Learn and adhere to laboratory safety regulations and policies to create a safe work environment
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in a laboratory or technical environment strongly preferred; recent graduates in scientific disciplines encouraged to apply
Familiarity with sample preparation, analytical instrumentation, and laboratory best practices is a plus
Demonstrated attention to detail and high standards for data quality and documentation
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities
Adaptable team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
