Farmers Market Attendant
City of Lenexa is seeking a Farmers Market Attendant to support the operation of the City’s Farmers’ Market. The role involves assisting vendors and patrons, managing market setup and teardown, and ensuring compliance with market guidelines.

Responsibilities
Assist with market setup, operations, and shutdown, including vendor support, booth layout, and placement of barricades, cones, and signage
Operate and reconcile the low-cost debit and SNAP transaction program
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting with concerns
Enforce market rules, policies, and layout requirements
Maintain the Market Information Booth
Perform light custodial duties, including trash collection and general cleanup
Complete required reports and end-of-day documentation
Assist with special events and additional market-related needs as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or G.E.D
One year of experience in a customer service or fast-paced work environment
Satisfactory credit history
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally while enforcing rules and policies
